The Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes was celebrated by VCWD last February 11, 2022 in commemoration of the appearance to a young peasant girl, Bernadette, in 1858 in Lourdes, France. Through a set of private revelations, Mary revealed herself as “the Immaculate Conception.” Our Lady of Lourdes is a significant site where Roman Catholics can deepen their faith. In celebration of the patron saint of VCWD, a holy prayer was offered by the staff to grow and strengthen its spiritual life.
